Why we need Education here ?
These poor, downtrodden, needy children are basically from the slums. As we all know the conditions they live in Chennai slums. There are also fatherless and motherless children who are living with their relatives. Their economic situations do not permit them to study well in their limited area hutments. So the priority of these children is a good place to study and also expert guidance to guide them. This made us to start a FREE TUTION CENTER for the children.
Some of them are not all going to schools and are house bound. They are into depression when they see other children going to Schools. So it becomes our responsibility to take care of the children who are affected.
In this connection, it is our urge to support these children as they have in their minds that they are helpless and forsaken. But we can always take up the responsibility to be their fathers and mothers and give them a helping hand to become pillars of the nation in the future.
Why we have to teach discipline here?
Almost all the children here come from slums with very low discipline level. Their minds are polluted with bad thoughts with bad company and as a result their attitude becomes fowl. Most importantly, the use bad language in their conversation is order of the day. Their children are also involved with bad habits too. They do not give respect to their parents, elders and others.
For example, a boy who was studying well in a School but since he was with bad company had the habit of stealing things from his friends. When he brought those things to his mother, he and his mother enjoyed and utilized it.
Many years went by, the boy was a man who was involved in great robberies and thefts and was caught by the police. At last he was sent to jail and was also sentenced to death. His last wish was asked. He wanted to see his mother. So his mother visited her son. The son wanted to hold his mother’s hand and to kiss on her hands. Permission was given to hold his mother’s hand. All of a sudden, the son bit his mother’s hand into pieces and blood was oozing out.
The son was asked for this barbarical act. The son told that when I was a boy, my mother not only enjoyed the things that I stole but never scolded. It was these hands that never scolded me. And that is why I need to bite her hands.
This may look a very small story but it has got meaning in it. Lack of discipline makes a person to commit crime and many other anti social activities.
Along with education, we also teach good discipline to the children. Their behaviour pattern changes when we teach.
Therefore, I urge you to have a concern and your support to involve in changing their attitude and behaviour.
Why we need to teach Cleanliness Awareness ?
As we have already mentioned, the children come from a slum background, they lack in cleanliness like not having bath, oiling their heads, hair, nail cut, etc., Some children are even affected by scabies and other skin disorders.
After coming to our SKY WISDOM EVENING FREE TUITION CENTER the children attitude and behavioral pattern has changed. Their parents and guardians give a good testimony about their children.
Therefore, the requirements for the children are cloth, towel, Soap, Oil, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cleaning materials, etc., is desperately needed.
There are 145 children who are daily attending the Evening Free Tuition Center and also there are 6 teachers who are teaching and guiding them. We are also providing snacks and tea for all the children who attend the tuition center every day.
We have a vision that every slum should have a tuition Center. We are also working on it to march towards greater goals.
Please give your helping hand for this noble cause.
As this place is not sufficient to run the TUITION CENTER we are searching for a bigger place.

- Their educational needs like notebooks, pens, pencils, school bags, umbrella, raincoats are desperate and also their needs like clothing, food, etc.,
